mission of the Small Business Management Certificate (SBMC) pro- gram is to help budding entrepre- neurs realize their dream of business ownership and help existing busi- nesses remain competitive in the economic marketplace. To meet this goal, a variety of business education workshops are available with topics including business planning, account- ing, finance, legal, taxes, insurance and marketing. The Small Business Management Certificate program is designed to meet your specific needs as an entrepreneur at various stages of your business development. The pro- gram offers three distinct training tracks. Track 1 – Starting Your Business focuses on the needs of the new business owner. Track 2 – Maintaining Your Business is designed to support business own- ers whose businesses have been in existence between one and five years. Track 3 – Growing Your Business is designed to support business owners with businesses that have been in existence for at least five years. Workshops will
